The Beautiful Breaking

The ache of loss may seem as if it will never pass

but the sun is still burning yellow

behind that swirling mass of grey

the stabbing pain may seem as if it will never end

but hope is still waiting to fall

despite all the confusion spinning overhead

there is still beauty in the world

and healing is raining

light through the clouds of a scattering storm
